C.S. Lewis says....

"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: 'I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept His claim to be God.' That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic -- on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg -- or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to." – Mere Christianity, pages 40-41.

Have you noticed???  There are various interpretations of history, whether it be of civilizations or individuals who were the movers and shakers of those civilizations.  Now, there is a uniform agreement on most historical figures (i.e. individuals) as to how they influenced their societies.  When it comes to Jesus Christ you have only one option and you must choose.  Up to this point in time, you have chosen in case you don't know it yet. I will clarify this paragraph later.

Jesus Christ throughout his three year ministry made His claims as clear as crystal to those he spoke to.  They knew he was claiming to be so many things outside the realm of a normal human being and utmost of all, he claimed to be God and the foretold Messiah of the Old Covenant.

Do you want Him to save you?  Are you ready to be born again by His power?  Are you willing to come to Him as a little child?  Are you ready to ask Him to save your soul?  Call to Him,  repent, believe the gospel that he died for your sins and rose again from the dead and lives in heaven.  He wants you to live in heaven forever with Him and with all true Christians.  Go into your closet when you can be alone and quiet and call on Him.

Original intent of the 14th Amendment and the 1st Amendment as it relates to Pornography

How would you interpret the 14th amendment as it relates to the children of illegal immigrants who through no fault of their own were brought to the U.S. and in so doing broke a federal law?  There was a context in history when the 14th Amendment to the Constitution was written.  July 9th, 1868 was the date this Amendment was ratified granting all slave's children the right to be "natural born citizens" of the U. S.  This context was clear as we have the news print articles from various states which recorded it's purpose.  If "original intent" could preclude other interpretations of an amendment then "original intent" could be applied to other Amendments and preclude other interpretations of the said amendment, correct?  Therefore, in Amendment One when free speech and the freedom of the press is mentioned we also could conclude that pornography which had yet to be created would be excluded in the "original intent" of the authors of Amendment One.  So persists the question:  Why do we allow this defense to exist in courts?  Our Amendments exist to the benefit of all and to the demise of no one.  Pornography degrades women and men, destroys true understanding of sex, perverts the minds of individuals and is just morally wrong.
